Field Trips

The Birdwell family invites you to bring your students to Still Hollow Farm for a field trip that is both educational and fun. We offer several activities that correlate with Tennessee Curriculum Standards, emphasizing understanding and preserving our agricultural heritage.

Students will learn about growing crops in the past and present. They will also investigate how agriculture has changed through the years by viewing farm implements and toys from the past. While on the farm, students will also feed sheep and participate in hands-on activities that promote an understanding of agriculture and nature.

We invite you to join us for a day filled with fun ways to learn about this important part of our heritage. Bring your lunch and take advantage of our lovely picnic area.
